Red Ice
Medium:
My score for the full-length supernatural horror-thriller independent feature film Red Ice, combining electronic and acoustic composition, avant-garde orchestral writing, heavy metal, Latin music, and the Eastern flavor of the pipa and taiko featuring Steve Adams, flute (Rova Quartet) and the San Francisco-based metal band Kaos. The film was written and directed by Ralph Hyver, and produced by HRW Productions/Entertainment 7. Red Ice was an Official Selection of Sf IndieFest’s Another Hole In the Head (6.3.11/6.11.11) and Chicago Horror (9.23.11) Festivals. Distribution: Entertainment 7 (LA). There was a ton of music, almost 70 minutes, in the 91 minutes of the film.
