Montalvo Residency – Fall 2017!

I’ve recently returned from spending time out at the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, CA as a Lucas Arts Fellow. While out there I worked on a new commission from ModernMedieval Trio of Voices based upon the writings of Hildegard of Bingen. The World Premiere of this new vocal piece will be on May 9, 2017 on the Shenson Chamber Music Concerts at the National Museum of Women in the Arts here in Washington D.C. on a program titled The Living Word. It will also  and then on the following night, May 10th, at the Virginia Arts Festival. The program includes works by Hildegard, Caroline Shaw, Caleb Burhans, Joel Phillip Friedman, Daniel Thomas Davis, and Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek.
