Last night was my last preconcert talk of the 2013-14 season with the Baltimore Symphony/Levine Music. A full house for Tchaikovsky & Rachmaninoff and then a stellar performance. Violinist Ray Chen ate up Tchaikovsky’s concerto followed by Paganini as an encore! Keep your eyes out DC, he’s doing a recital for Washington Performing Arts next season! A definite “must hear!”
