One Into One – for soprano and piano – was originally written as a wedding present for my wife Jenny Bilfield. I chose to portray this love song’s lyrically purity and simplicity as “white note music.” The music is crafted only from the C diatonic collection, not a single accidental to be heard. The song was also originally the finale to the larger song cycle, also titled One Into One, but is often performed as an individual song.
